Three Sheets: The Ultimate Pub Crawl

So I had a friend over for movie night this weekend (Hi, Leslie!) and she brought along a DVD of a TV Show I haven't seen before called Three Sheets. It's a brilliant idea for a show. The host, Zane, travels around the world drinking with the locals and learning about the region's popular drinks.

Part travelogue, part pub crawl -- there's so much good packed in 24 minutes! Plus, Zane is hilarious. And kinda hot. Totally one of those guys who seems to really like people (even when he's making fun of them). And as a professional bar fly, the man can seriously hold his liquor!
Each show tells you a bit about the area, a bit more about the local alcohol, and ends the next morning (or afternoon) when Zane tests out the local hangover remedies. Chocolate in Belgium, fried food in Scotland, spicy food in Thailand, etc.

I've only watched a handful of episodes so far, but they've all been great. And they're all on Hulu (for free!). My favorite so far is, of course, Scotland. They focused on Glenfiddich instead of my fave, The Macallan. But Zane wore a kilt, so it was all good. Here's Scotland:

  2. No problem - Share away! The show has moved around a bit, but I heard that it was recently picked up by a new station. I'm not sure which, but it shouldn't be hard to track down. :-)
