Yes, it's here. Dr. Horrible was released on DVD in time for Santa to leave it under my tree. It's even better on the big(ger) screen tv, than it was on my mini-big screen laptop. And my unexpected crush on NPH has been renewed - man, can that guy sing!
I just finished watching Commentary! The Musical for the second time (okay, third for some parts) and there's still a grin stretched across my face that I expect to last for the better part of the day. If you haven't seen it, it is a commentary that runs over Dr. Horrible, but instead of speaking, it is another musical. (Genius!)
I can't decide if my favorite song from Commentary! is Zack's or Joss'. I've gotta love Joss' Pick Apart song, and not just because it's Joss - well, partly because it's Joss - but because it's so true. 'Pick pick pick, what's the process in your head?' But 'Zack is Doin' Us a Favor'-- Hilarious, couldn't stop laughing, had to replay it three times funny!
Then, there are the behind the scenes featurettes. One on the movie, one on the music, and one on fan response. And of course, the Evil League of Evil video applications (created by fans). The first one had me laughing out loud, and the puppet one is completely deranged! (in a good way... I think)
If you're a Dr. Horrible fan, get the DVD. It's well worth the $10.50 at Amazon - which is apparently fifty cents more than the cost of a solo.
