And a Happy New Year

It's been a busy year - as usual!

The boys graduated from elementary and middle school last spring and have each moved on to new schools for 6th and 9th grades. Brian is enjoying the challenge of high school and Michael is happy to have moved on to middle school. They are both taking all honors classes and Michael is taking Pre-Algebra as well (1-2 years early).

Brian is still playing the trumpet and is first chair in the school's symphonic band. He has recently started piano lessons as well. (Nope, I'm not teaching him myself.) Michael has also started band this year and is learning to play the clarinet.

Peter and I are keeping busy with work and home projects. The bathroom remodel that was originally planned for the summer was put off until October, then had delays and complications which dragged it out for two months. The work was finished yesterday - except for the painting which is scheduled for next week. (pictures will follow)
