Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. Has there ever been an SNL parody as spot on as Fey's Palin? Fey nails it all - the glasses, the hair, the voice, the vague non-answers, and, of course, the cringe-worthy homespun colloquialisms.
If you've read about Tina Fey's Palin skits online but haven't seen the actual videos, I've added them here, straight from SNL's website.
They really are must-see TV, but as much as I love laughing at Tina Fey's impression of Sarah Palin, I do not want to see Palin or Palin-parodies after November. So, get out and vote for Obama/Biden.
Remember, feminism isn't about 'getting a woman into the white house'. Feminism is about getting the best person elected to the white house, even if she is a woman.

So eerie, huh? Anyhow, I cannot even begin to imagine that woman near the oval office. If I hear "Give her credit! She is just a hockey mom!" again I am going to puke! Why should I give her credit?!!? I am not running for office... why is that PJ? Oh, because I AM NOT QUALIFIED! My cousin lives in Wasilla, by the way. It is about population 54 and most of those are drunk eskimos and polar bears! Ok final thing then I swear I will stop ranting. When she does that winking thing, don't you just want to 3 stooge her in the eyes? Maybe that is just me :P

I LOVE Queen Latifah's line in the debate parody about how the expectations are so low for Palin that even an adequate performance - not faiting, crying, etc. - should be considered a tie. I cringed through that whole debate thinking just how truly awful she is, only to be shocked to hear so many saying she did "great" just because she didn't have any "major gaffes". Arrrgh.
